The GPC has voted to add Marrow as a one year trial into the vegetable category for weigh offs.

Much like we did for bushel gourds. We want to see how much interest there is for adding Marrow to our list of prized categories. This will be added to the GPC awards list for the 2019 Growing season for a new world record only and a ribbon included in the prize package for 2019. This will also add into the Master Gardeners category as well, look for those rules to be announced at the BIG SHOW. If Marrow does as well as BG, we will vote to add it permanently.

Normally the GPC Committee announces this at the BIG SHOW, however we want to give growers enough time to plan their patches and collect their seeds.
