Ian,
As a grower you have brought much to our growing community. Skills, advice, experience, and friendship. As a GPC president you brought vision, leadership, and inspiration, but YOU gave far more.

TIME.

YOU GAVE TIME.

Time is the most precious resource in our lives. In our time poor world you gave the gift of time. And for that, we owe you.

Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless. Those who can, do. Those who can do more, VOLUNTEER.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart. And you my friend have a WORLD RECORD heart.

On behalf of the GPC committee and the grower community....

Thank you Ian for your service, it is like being quarterback on a football team you get to much credit when things go good & to much blame when things go bad. The best thing Ian is you always reminded us it is the "team" that makes or breaks it.
