We are looking for our 2015 Rookie of the year. To qualify for this award one needs to have been a first year grower never to have entered a pumpkin before in a GPC Weigh Off. This grower must have cared for their pumpkin the entire season as they say in Colorado... from seed to stem.

Please let us know the weight and the Growers name.

Jerry Rose the third 1358.5 although i don't know if he's a rookie as he's been in patch since he could walk and now he's 13 but was his first GPC entry.

It doesn't matter age or size of pumpkin this is a chance to recognize any person who had a good first year competing in the GPC.

Awesome job by all first year exhibitors & it is extra special when the next generation has a good year!!!!

I also believe Mathias has set a new mark for rookies @ 1,872.8 congratulations!!!!
