Yeah, yeah but Why is it called Mill? What mill? Like a flour mill?
What is it used for by non-pumpkin people?
Where do you acquire it, Mill-Mart?

for those that cant get any mill fabric you could buy two tarps 6ft x 6ft and a sheet of plywood (3/4 in 4ft x 4ft

once you have choosen your pumpkin and before the fruit gets to big (say around 60 inches)

1.lay one sheet of tarp pointed end first underneath the pumpkin ( put it far enough under to allow for stem end kin growth )
2. lay the 4ft x 4ft plywood under the pumpkin in the same manner as above (keep it low and dont gouge the fruit-use a couple people to laydown plywood while you hold up the fruit)
3. repeat the above process once again placing the tarp over the plywood piece.

this allows for much easier sliding or adjustment regarding the fruit as she begins to shape shift.
(we use this same method but with mill fabric however tarps will work

Lol, sometimes it takes a while to get an answer to what you asked. I’m guilty of going off on tangents as well.

To add to above, it’s very tough and seems like a woven plastic. I’ve splintered myself with it a few times. I like to use it for drainage and nothing is coming up from underneath

"Nvm!" could be "Nevermind!" (Just a guess, inspired by Nirvana quite a while ago...OMG, I´m getting old.)
