This is my 1st year trying to grow the elusive "big one". I am using 559 kuhn 1999 and 610 canniff 2001. Are these not appropriate for a southern climate? I live in South Carolina. Thanks in advance to all replies.

The 610 Caniff was grown in Florida, it should do you fine.
