Minimum bid on all lots is $20.00 U.S. unless otherwise specified. All bids shall be in $5.00 increments.

I have before Tom with no problems, however you need a contact in USA for seeds to be sent to. Then your contact can forward to you. It was explained in their other set of rules. Best of luck.

The issue is that clubs cannot track delivery of mail in another country through the United States Postal Service. Once the seed arrives on foreign soil, it is lost to the sender in the U.S.

On more than one occasion, I received an email from an out-of-country grower claiming they never received their seed, which was very expensive. In order to maintain credibility within the growing community, the club is forced to refund the bidder's money.

I had suspected, in one instance, that the grower had indeed received the seed AND the refund, because that particular grower weighed a pumpkin in the fall from that seed. No one can say for sure, and that's why the rule is in place.

Actually I had one California club send their seeds last month with tracking #. Costs $17, sent on January 22 and delivered here on Feb. 2. I could track history, day it went through Canada customs and so forth. No issues. On customs label contents listed as "gardening supplies". So far have received many and some listed as "pumpkin seeds".

Just thought should share this, however I understand the unfortunate situations clubs and growers have endured over the years, especially the one you experienced which is very sad and agree with your policy in place.

Some great lots here and all the best! Danny

Thanks for the questions and bids. If you are bidding from outside the US please have someone within the US to send winning seeds to that can then safely get them to you as posted.

Danny thank you for the comment, we appreciate you bidding and being understanding. Its unfortunate that rules like these typically come from a previous issue. We may re evaluate rules after this auction season and see if we can adjust but can not guarantee that.
