Hi, This season i am looking at going with some T-Tape and the water is going to be from a 265 Gallon ( 1000 Litre ) plastic tote tank ( those square tanks inside a square cage)
I am going to have to use a pump to pump the water out as from what i have read, you need at least 8 psi to make the T-Tape work, and making a stand high enough for that is way to high.
I am thinking i will have to have some sort of re circulation system involved, as i don't know if i can just leave a pump turned on and keep the pressure at 8 psi,
But certainly up for any ideas or suggestions.
So the question is, what are people here using that are using these tanks or similar?

Just looking from some information or even better diary photos of a watering system with this sort of setup if possible.
Cheers.

I have pics in my 2014 or 2015 diary, of my watering system. If you go with a smaller pump possibley and put an Inline pressure reducing valve in may help you get to what you are looking for. Most are adjustable so you can adjust to what works best for you.

Rick, I checked out your 2015 pictures, nice setup. How many horsepower is the pump you are using in the picture and does each hose at the header go to a particular water zone, finally is yours for overhead or drip?

Thanks/Glenn

Appreciated.

The pump is 1 horse, each hose is to a certain zone where I have another 4 place header where I have shut off valves, from there I run 2 hoses to each plant and run 2 sprinkler heads. Trying to get the best coverage this way. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks Rick, that helps. I’m also going to need a small pump to give me enough psi to run the dripworks driptape. I have some slope, but it’s not enough to give the right psi. This year, I’ll also use overhead and a buddy made me a manifold so I can run different zones like you.

Baitman, shoot me the same information if you don’t mind. I’d also like to consider using dripworks from the same tank bluesilver is talking about, and same issue, I can use my large pump that runs the overhead.
