I am going to get the one off e-bay for $184 that is the one with free shipping. The lower priced ones are plus shipping. There is two different models so read description carefully. One has a fan speed of 5500 the other 7500. Plus the tanks are different sizes I think one is 12L the other 14L. I have had a few guys tell me they have no problem with these misters and they work great.

I plan on getting a Stihl SR 200. Should cost around $400. It came highly recommended by several growers on here.

I would go wit the SR 200. I have the SR 450 and wish I had the 200.

Both sr200 or 450 are great. The 200 is lighter but has a smaller capacity but either will make life easier on a pumpkin grower

The Stihl is SO expensive. I was eyeing the eBay specials as well but afraid to pull the trigger on one.

Hope its in the USA. Ordered special off ebay from oversea and it never came. Then I got a SR 200 here in town no problem.

Anything less then a 3000 sq ft patch and the sr200 like Ray said is perfect! I bought the 450 first and had a patch less then 800 sq ft and this machine was total overkill.

So the 200 for small patches and the 450 for the bigger ones. You'll spend more time cleaning the unit then spraying!

The Stihl is a couple hundred dollars more then some of the other spray machines but worth every penny!

Good to know. Cheap mister blower is no longer an option for me.

The stihl back pack blower I have I think is the 450 .. but anyhow more capacity more power plus mine I can top dress solids... yes I can top dress my green gro granular fertilizer program....gypsum.. humic ... mycor all from my unit so I say more is better it’s two tools and it can also be a leaf blower....now that’s 3 tools in one.... I try to get things that just don’t have one use......

Oh ya no one discussed the other thing.... like personal protective equipment..... DO NOT USE WITHOUT A MASK ......, get yourself a good easy to use chemical mask.... your heath is more important than the pumpkins.... also I have a rain suite I use... yup top and bottom.. also rubber boots... I do not tuck in mine... I also rinse off my gear once done.... good equipment lasts a long time if taken care of.... that mist goes everywhere.... be safe all....
