            | irischap | Guelph, Ontario | I'm looking for seeds of a pure white giant pumpkin. If self pollinated or pollinated by another white AG preferred. | 3/17/2018 9:42:34 AM |
            | pumpkinpal2 | Syracuse, NY | DARKY from New Zealand grew my 275 seed from '01 in '05:http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=30791
you may be able to drag/highlight that link and then right-click on that and select 'go to' and see if it works = very easy! this seed is 845 Bobier X 1026 Holland, and looking VERY closely + at the text, it appears that he had TWO on the plant and they were BOTH white as-can-be! I'm on a sprout-old- seeds kick and so i gave it a shot; i forget how many i tried-at, and 1 of however many (no more than 3) sprouted and is doing nicely in my kitchen. been trying the reverse cross, too, but 'just not yet' on those ones; be sure to look at the previous pics also in the diary and email me at [email protected]
i would send enough back to ease your mind about 'will they sprout'; my method was peat pots/ss mix/Mycorrhizae/93F
for 72 hrs., so i'm optimistic for anyone else---later--EG

            | irischap | Guelph, Ontario | Looks nice. what was colour of parents?

            | pumpkinpal2 | Syracuse, NY | as i recall, the 845 mom was a very whitish pumpkin also, and the 1026 Holland pollinator fruit i don't think was a colorful character either, lol---
as soon as i can dig up a CD that has all of my Pumpkin Pics from that far back on it, i would let you know. if i thought its little offspring in my kitchen would make it to Guelph by FedEx OverNight, it'd be growing and on its weigh to you and we'd know even more! i'll try to make it less than a day or two. thanks---eg
