Going Green

Just a reminder to all of you to save seeds and dry and package them for the EXOTIC SEED EXCHANGE in October. We have enjoyed the multitude of different seeds that the seed exchange makes possible. We also appreciate the generous giving by many of the growers. Many growers give 55 packs of tomato and another 55 of bushel gourd and then another 55 of watermelon. We appreciate all of you who participate each year and look forward to the Exotic Seed Exchange this fall. Sign up will begin in October and please tell us what you will be sending.

Same rules as we had last several years. Bag up 5-7 seeds per bag and label them like 7.91 Porches Tomato 2015. We need 55 of these bags and most people send two or three different seeds. The baggies are jewelry bags available at Walmart 100 bags for $1.00 -$1.25 ! Guys like Porkchop are always very generous and send many seeds per bag and many bags of different seeds. You can expect that the 50 growers will send 100 to 150 baggies of seeds. Send them after they are dry from October 15 till Christmas. Include $7.00 for return postage if you have a United States address and $9.00-$12.00 if your address is outside of the US. No one is in until their seeds arise to me. I will email you that your seeds have arrived, so I will need your email address as well. Seeds, return postage and email by Christmas.
