Hi Everyone,

My name's Jamie and I live in Tyngsboro, MA. This year I'd like to make my first attempt a growing a giant pumpkin. I spent numerous evenings this past fall tilling up a new area in my garden ready for the spring, took my pick-up truck to a local farm to get a load of compost for it, so now I'm chomping at the bit to get the garden going.

I saw some giant pumpkins a couple of years ago, and would love the challenge of growing even a halfway-decent one. Plus, I think that my father-in-law will be growing one too - so there will be some friendly competition.

I'd like to kindly ask if anyone would spare a few seeds to get my father-in-law and myself started? It would be very much appreciated.

Make sure you join one of the local clubs. SNGPG or NEGPGA Lots of info and in the news letters. Look at the diaries from last year and if you see a pumpkin you really like and would like a seed from it hit the envelope in the corner and send a polite seed request. If they say yes. Send them a self addressed stamped bubble pack and your good to go. Watch for this years patch tour in Topsfield. Great way to meet other growers too. I don't have great seed to send but I'm sure you will get some if you ask. Good luck.

On second thought I do have a lot of seeds I have gotten from growers that I won't get to plant. Send me an email and I'll send you some of those.
