Oh curtlave, how embarrassingly asking for?
Here you have it:
754 Schweiger 10 a 110 Schweiger x 993* Vincent 12 from the great Vincent Mc Gill sqash dinasty.
Dear farmergal, I´ve bred the new variety C. maxima `New England Orange Hubbard Pumpkin´ with nearly the same size like `New England Blue Hubbard Squash´.
Next year I want to enlarge this 4-lober New England Orange and pollinate by my 612 Ammer 14 a two times selfed 1385.5 Jutras 07.

I´m so sorry: the mother of the 754 was not pollinated by a 993 squash but by the 993.2 Vincent Mc Gill 08 pumpkin!
Farmergal´s 754 now was pollinated on 7/5 by a 1059.6 Vincent Mc Gill 09 pumpkin, which was grown out of the 993.2/08 too.

Oh, here it is as a short version:

Sorry again to curtlave: I thank you so much for your question above, because so I learned to love this 235 Arnold 14!

Farmergal, I saw in your diary that you have a 874.8 Geyelin. I grew it this year, it's a good seed.

Hey Ludwig... I didn't specify which seeds I was offering up. If you read my earlier diary entries I have quite the stash of orange genetics including my own personal seeds. Pumpkin growers generously offered their seeds to get me started in this hobby and helped me achieve a Howard Dill award in my first year... I consider it paying it forward to share seeds with others who want them. Carry on.

Oh yes: you should cross purebred Kalmyk semen onto your skinny Jersey cows to found the new race of New England Cattle for best beef.

farmergal-I have sent you an email and have seeds to trade. Achieved Howard Dill myself this year. There are great Howard Dill Seeds available through the exotic seed exchange this year. Go to SEED EXCHANGE for participation. Only 8 spots left!

Hey Ludwig; keep stooping to that level of low and see where it gets you in life. Jerseys are dairy cattle; not beef cattle (although they do make some great beef). now lets keep this thread on top of the pumpkin topics...

Since you pose with skinny Jerseys, I only wanted to give a professional advice to a greenhorn. You studied Animal Science a few years ago, I grew up in the cow shed and studied agriculture in the early 1980s and did all practical work with dairy.
We do not grow pure Jersey here, because we need really good carcasses with bigger muscles. For your climate Kalmyk would be the best choice to create a robust dual use dairy with skin and bone Jersey.
