Nice! Set a couple potted trap plants outside that are loaded with insecticide so that they're attracted to something else and not testing out every seam of your setup.

Great idea Andy with trap pots for giants! Similar to a commercial pumpkin field when some intentionally plant outside row or 2 with a type of c. maxima squash variety to attract the beetles there first then nuke them before they try to damage the main crop.

Thats a twofer, you get a bit of shade cloth also. Works great for Alex ;) hope to see something big come out of it!

Thanks all! I now have some blue hubbard squash seeds on order - thanks for the idea! It'll be nice having the extra shade as well.
