Hi John! I'm growing your 701 plant this year- I love it (it is the strongest one). I' thinking about polinating it with the 1377 Young, 1976 New or 1182.8 Gawlik 2024 (planted all 3 as polinators). What do you think/ which cross would you go for? Cheers Flo

Flo, The 701 plant is not ours but it looks like a nice cross. Looks like all of your pollinators are very good crosses. Our 1377 should add a lot of orange if that is your goal for more size it would be hard not to cross the 1976 New would be hard to beat. Difficult decisions always. Have fun! John

Oops... didn't notice i had a seed from a UK Grower who is also called young. Since it produced a 10 percent pumpkin I'm fine with it. I liked the cross so I went for it (still I planted a "young" in order to get that HDA...we will see. I'll use that male flower which is is ready at the time of pollination. Thanks!
