I have heard that purslane was tasty. Jim Ford finally convinced me to try it. It is surprisingly delicious.

It's both the most benign and upsetting weed... My mom was freaking out about it until I nicely told her she was being silly.
Edit: benign in the sense that unlike other weeds it wont shade anything out or use too much water or nutrients. It does have a very good germination rate on warm bare soil though.
