In the middle and braced with bales of straw/hay front and back. Pack secure for road trips. Or strap it down good.

Lot easier towards the back some, so forklift/tractor can reach pallet. Or have chains on hand to pull it back. Good luck!

All the way up to the cab with a cushion. Those bed liners are slippery.

Worst case scenario is when you have to hit the brakes hard. Pin it to the front and you'll be fine. Strap it to the tailgate, and you better hope that strap doesn't shimmy off on the way there.

My question is how will they pick it up with the forks if it's all the way up against the cab?

Luckily, you have it on a tarp - I'm betting a couple guys can drag it back within reach of the forks. Not saying the pumpkin is small, but we've done that with pumpkins in the 900-1k range with a bedliner.

Or, you can take the tailgate off when you get there. Forks will reach it fine.

Ok cool thank you Andy. This is my first time doing this properly by myself so a lot of the details are a mystery to me.
