FYI and I'm such a harbinger, lol, and I apologize, a common but not required practice is to cut through a stem at 1/2 one day and after at least one day to cut the rest off to avoid a big surge to the remaining, probably-more-important fruit. I did this once and forgot to finish it. The fruit actually grew with one side, top or bottom, I forget which, growing faster. It's one of my favorite seeds, now.
