I get the color thing but any specific reason for tan? Would there be any pros or cons to using e.g. green, purple or pink?

Horsey Cow. Yes I caught 12 mice and counting. They come to feed on the pumpkin ebery night. Bur they light the peanut butter in the traps better.

We chose tan because it does not heat up like darker colors would when exposed to the sun.

Great to hear that the peanut butter is working Steve. Always had great success here with it on mice, rats and raccoons. Using anything else was a waste of time as they can be very clever getting bait without setting off trap.
