Very fast, I'm sure the pumpkin will grow like crazy. Remove all the tertiary leaves, but from 70 dbh onwards, I think you should leave some tertiary leaves growing in the old areas to produce new leaves. I think you have to do it this way to have new leaves for the last 40-50 days.
