Good luck with it! Did you notice any physiological differences between the squash plants and the pumpkin plants? Other than the fruit and maybe vine color? This is an interesting project and congrats on the 4 greenies!

Little ketchup, definitely the vine color! Other than that, its hard to say.

One more difference I noticed but I'm a bit afraid to mention. The male flowers were in clusters on the plant. I have a question to other squash growers… is that normal? I haven't grown a squash in probably 15 years so I don't know.

I've noticed squash seem to have long stems, almost as a rule? And I think they can be more disorderly in the vines and flowers... Nothing too terrible but not behaving as domesticated as the pumpkins. But thats just my experience.
