I dont know why this happens. I did get at least one mega to develop at the same speed as the single next to it. It is possible for the plant to invest equally into both, if it wants to. I agree that it won't necessarily speed up the mega to cut off the single.

Its all to easy to assume that cutting one off would speed the other one up but thats not necessarily how it works.

I Keep the megas that take off like that single. You know within a few days if it’s gonna poop off or not.

Ya the mega is not going to go, it's just weird, the single has quadrupled in size the mega is just meh...I'll keep both for science.
