Dale. Congrats on your first female, I’m a couple weeks behind where you are - your set up in Alaska is just incredible! I’m curious about your black weed fabric, do you cut holes in it at the root nodes or do you remove it as the secondaries come in? Do you bury your vine at the root nodes or just ensure good contact with the ground? Thanks.

Far be it for me to say, butt I'd think that the more days of pumpkin growth the better, possibly resulting in that World Record...From Alaska? People'd freak! Just thought I'd say. I'm sure you have it scheduled out perfectly, but this year I did something a lit-tle different and my sprouts (Oh, yeah, behind on that, as usual) are the most-vigorous, ever. Now, too fast!
