DAVE, you can put a little spray with peroxide reduced to 2 or 3% and put a small silicone tube inside with soft air, it works well, with a small compressor. You will probably get another hole in the lower area, it is good for drainage. If you don't have a silicone tube and compressor, put a soft fan nearby.
