What orange seeds are you planning to grow this year? Keeping in mind that plans are subject to change.

I have to try the 1225 Jutras- link to pic below. Although the chances of germination are very low, it's still one of the best looking pumpkins ever.

We are going to try adding some orange into a couple of seed lines we have been developing by growing these two awesome seeds. 1501 Vander Wielen and 2350 Gienger

2376 Bayuk: looks to me like it could go orange, although its pinkish-- its crossed with the promising Gienger orange genetics.
I was thinking the 773.5 Gansert looked nice.
But at the end of the day I may just grow one of my own seeds, or forget about color altogether.

Top of the list for me is the 2350 but several others along with some of my own are on the list also.

My 301.5 '05 (677 Catapano X 689.5 Sandercock)
if the few that are left will be gracious enough to keep on sprouting;

'Bout knocked me outta my chair, just now, lol! whheeewww...

Ever had a seed you never tried until it was maybe not gonna sprout anymore? Bummer! Same thing with my 100 seed, which (used to?) produce deep-orange ones.
I have MANY Daletas (X 1495) seeds and a Joel Holland gotta-try (1911 Urena X 2145) waiting in the wings, and yes, most others will be my own orangies that NEED to be bigger - eric g

1454 Engel, 1296 Engel, 1072 Engel and 944 Westaby. Lots of 2261 Schmit and 2350 Gienger combined in my orange genetics now. Now to get 3 of my seeds over 4,000 lbs. :)

I have always liked 359Foss. I'm thinking of ordering a 1454 and 1072 Engel.

All great plans above! I dream of a day when most giant pumpkins are orange and I believe there is a great new stock of orange big ones. Last year we just stuck with our crosses but this year we will be adding the 1885 and 1905 to our 1552 and 1469. If things come out, then next year we will backcross more orange into our 2022 crosses. Good luck everyone!

My 1797 is probably the best bet for pretty in my lineup this year, although I have a good feeling on the color of the 2365.

The 2365 Wolf could be a real winner.

And with a nod to dyslexia I think even the 2356 Booth has an acceptable chance of orange I think its got the correct recessive traits. Even the new WR has some recessive orange, I believe. Orange will rule!

I care about what the scale says, not the color but I think I’ll get pretty ones out of the 1885 and my 2003 this year.
