Sure can, we grow them in Ontario. I think the record for Ontario is 197. We can get them 160 - 180 pounds outside with no problem.

You will have no problem growing competitive gourds.The only
question will be if they are mature enough so they won't rot when you are drying them out to save them after the weigh off.

If you can grow pumpkins, you can grow gourds ;) They don't take as long , for me about 70 days is max.
