About what percentage of seeds do you lose to animals or wash out from rain? Wash out is my big worry, seems like everytime i plant a huge storm hits a couple days later. The soil is still a little clumpy in spots

It really depends...I used to have a heck of a time with those pretty hybrids and the colored shells. Soon as they would germinate the crows would be on them. We used to soak 4 hours prior in hot water and had excellent germination 8 foot rows ever 6 feet putting seeds. How much area are you planting?

I file the edges soak them in one cap of peroxide to four caps warm water and plant 2 seeds per plant site put a little water on them cut the bottom off a milk jug stake it over top and take the lid off the milk jug they should come up in 4-7 days, I mailed you seeds today and found some others I forgot about, if you need more let me know

the patch is now 1.5 acres. i was debating on filing the edges. They are treated seeds and i didnt know if it would open them up to insects or seed rot. Everything is going in the ground today.

Did some searching today in the patch in spots where seeds didnt come up. They literally got cooked with these high temps. Also it appears fire ants were busy also
