New to growing sunflowers. I have a dozen or so in a wind-protected, sunny area. At about two feet high several have suddenly bent at the ground level and tipped over. Ideas? Too dry? Too wet? Other ideas? Thanks.

               Sorry to hear that, Whidbey!
Are your plants possibly running low on nitrogen? Sunflowers need a good supply of N.
  Good luck to you!
