Dang i believe Chris Kent's 55.1 is the new state record for Tennessee... Robbie Burns 52.6 new state record for Texas . Three state records and all by first time growers. This is hard to beat . Great job yall!

The first year growers did an excellent job this year. There were a lot more big lopes than ussual. I remember when a 40 pounder was very rare. I can think of at least 8 over 45 this year. Who knows how many over 40. Lots of records fell this year. Theres still some to be picked too.
