There's been plenty of early tomato submissions and now we're into the formal weigh-off season!! You can follow the real time results at the link below. Be sure to toggle through all 4 tabs. Please LMK if I've missed something or if there's a mistake.

Contest runs through Oct 31. Good luck to all!!

Porkchop and Lambchop are also tracking on a whiteboard for those who prefer rotary phones and folding maps. Ha!

There are multiple ways to submit entries. Officially through the GPC, diary posts here, or a direct email to [email protected] and/or [email protected].

Diary posts or emails must include clear pictures on a digital scale showing the weight, including images of both the top and bottom of your tomato. These submissions will be evaluated in accordance with GPC's Tomato Rules. While your submissions will be considered for this contest, they will be "unofficial" and NOT recognized by the GPC.

At the end of the season we scour the GPC boards .. that's usually where the growers post their two biggest...having the miners fill in with smaller numbers and changing leaderboards make it fun for many participants...I dunno how Dan does it. We usually get it right by the end of the season..good luck folks...usually the tomatoes are good in seasons when pumpkins are popping.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Record heat wave followed by flooding has greatly affected everything here in central ohio, but I have managed a few nice ones. I'll foward all info.
