It was a real nice tomato to see in person. I could have been DMG too because mine grew the same way as Bnot's but I got lucky and there was no DMG. The owner of the garden place is growing Mega Mutt plants.

thank you everyone. I think grower error contributed to this low weight. If I could do it again..I think I would be over 7 pounds undamaged. The early flashing was a result of either the snapping the tomato stem from the main vine even though I was using double hammocks or the reaction to the soft spot. The soft spot was where it was rubbing against the support pole, but also I have been having trouble with tomato fruitworms this year. If I had to do it again..i would set up separate supports for the hammocks and spray the fruit itself with a topical pestiside. I could not use a systemic because the number one goal for this year was 10,000 seeds...i need the bees. This might be the best F2 of the megamuttD...but it is unsure..I still have 100+ seeds left from the 5.24. Next year, I will grow a few 5.24's and many 6.32's. The megamutt has been the pb of I think myself, Jay Yohe, and Wile Coyote. James Hartley in Spain is also really a big supporter. Sorry Qtip...you are just unlucky. Thinking about trying a megamutt this winter..but the plant is so aggressive, I think I would run out of ceiling space. Thanks Wixom for the cross...we will keep it alive.

I have 6.32 seeds fermenting now. They should be dry in about 3 weeks. If someone wishes either 5.24 or 6.32 megamuttD seeds shoot me an email. I am more than happy to share.
