we might be a little early / first set in for me today / annakins started two weeks ago... hers will be ready to plant out in greenhouse in two or three weeks.
Done with freezing weather here. Weather might improve.
Can always start more though if to early. Were both novices to big tomatoes...

woke up this morning to 11 degrees outside, snow still covering the garden, not much weather relief in the next 10 day forecast. I am not worried about the tomato starts...plenty of time in may. Pumpkins are getting me concerned though.

Started a few competition plants today, once they start I usually put them in lower temps until the soil outside has warmed up enough to transplant. Wishing you all success.

Started here a couple of weeks back. If I were to wait for October weigh offs my tomatoes would never finish as it is to cold. We usually do early entry and local fairs.

I am having to balance my seed starting..Indoors, my normal is about 3 weeks from seed start to first flowering. I know that my timeline is not normal..With the the below average temps we are having, it might be midddle May before i can start a seed and transplant it when it is not in in flower mode. I have had first truss flowers as soon as 16 days from seed start...10 day forecast...i am still going to be frozen solid.
