Are you talking about the 8.36. If so I planted one this summer that was shredded by hail. Planted a second one in June. It had a nice first truss blossom that didnt fully get pollinated, I went with a second truss that was not as good just so I could get seeds. It grew a low 3 but I did harvest the seeds. I expect to have a plant from these seeds in my garden next spring..maybe even in the winter grow.

Yes it was grown off the 5.85 b
I have a few and I was just curious if anybody had success with them.

When I think back...I also had a 8.36 started in a 40 gallon pot. Overall, I would put the 8.36 at only about a 7 out of 10 for first truss potential. Of all the different genetics that I grew...the 8.36 progeny seed that I have will probably see dirt next summer. But I rate the seeds from 8 of my tomatoes above it as far as potential. My two top seeds for potential...4.38 from the 6.79 Sutherland, which is from Master P's 8.41 line, and my 4.01 from the 6.83 Boudyo, which is the same genetic family as the 7.10 Foss and the 7.19 LaRue. Genetics from the 5.85 (8.38 and 8.61) are trailing in my top 10.

I grew several of them but didn't really get anything big. I think it was the weather's fault rather than the seed.
