Subject: LG Split a little. Harvest seeds Now?

Lets say your LG has split a bit.Can you harvest the seeds early to keep them from rotting or is 28 dap too soon for seed development? Thanks for any help. Heres a pic: |

Since it's off the vine no harm in harvesting them now. You'll be able to tell if they are viable when you see them. |
