Does anyone in Michigan or Ohio have a backup 291 Kent they dont need? It looks like I'm loosing my 291,I really wanted to grow it in the Melon Cave.I will have 3 -260s & my 228 otherwise.I will drive & come get it.Clementz.mark@yahoo.com or 248-818-0104 My only backups are 260.5s due to damping off & supplying others with plants.I will give you 3-291 Kent seeds for it.

I do have a 198 Clementz 291 Kent X 239 Zuerner Just breaking soil today, late start may work out for a Oct 13th weigh -off.I think I will go with if the 291 doesn't pull through.Only 70 seeds left from the 198,sold it for 100$ to a store.

Chris had a great suggestion, replacing with grafted plants, there are more disease resistant.

Mark, your grafted plant is looking great. I think you should go with a second one.

I found out they weed killed the mill pond in early May & on the 25th,& didnt notify me There under new management & a new contractor for weed control.Might of been the culprit that took out my plants. There looking good now will plant the 291 Sunday the 3rd when warm weather returns. You have to think of everything!lol Note to self,Call Village in early May & get the yearly plan each year!I thought I had this covered. Then they fired everybody!LOL!
