            | Holloway | Bowdon, GA | Would like to hear how some of you guys load big melons. The tarps sold at P&P are high. Does anyone have any good ideas for safely lifting them. | 8/7/2008 10:35:55 PM |

            | Andy W | Western NY | those cheap blue tarps should work fine as long as you have the manpower to pick up the melon. we've lifted pumpkins over 500 pounds with those tarps. just get a good grip on it, and don't let it slip. | 8/8/2008 8:11:44 AM |

            | croley bend | Williamsburg,KY | Blue tarp is what I use. I tied a golf ball on the ends to you have something to grab on to or a big knot, dont want the tarp to slip out of your hand.. | 8/9/2008 8:29:22 AM |

            | Minnesota Melon Man | Rochester, Minnesota | I stopped into an army surplus store and bought a canvas body tarp with really nice handles. I double the tarp over and roll the melon on. Works like a charm. | 8/11/2008 10:51:34 AM |
