I had a horrible season and my first 4 pumpkins on the only plan5 I have left (I started with 4) had it’s first 4 abort. I finally pollinated one on 8/28 that took and it’s at dap 21 sitting at around 15 lbs doing just over an inch side to side every day and us 73 ott. Here in southern Quebec it is getting really cold with essentially every night the next week dropping to 6-7 centigrade. How should I keep it growing well so I can hopefully bring a 100 pounder to the weigh off in 23 days?

It'll be difficult to keep the plant warm without a greenhouse. For the pumpkin you can put old quilts over it. If you save up some money over the winter I think you can create a nice setup that will help you protect your plants during the spring and let you get an earlier pollination.

Good plan Maurice. I think because your pumpkin is so young it will still be able to get some more size... despite the weather. The pumpkin fruit's main job is to make mature seeds to create offspring for next year. So naturally it is going to push to do that despite everything.
