My Logan Standard soil test report shows Molybdenum at <0.02 ppm (essentially non-detect). My online search does not provide any guidance on the application rate for giants. Can anyone suggest the application rate for 39.5% sodium Molybdate per 1000 ft2 for soil drench and/or foliar? Thank you in advance for any help.

Recommended soil levels are 0.1- 2.0 ppm. One quarter oz per 1000 square ft. once would be plenty.

1ppm=20grams/1000sq ft x % element.

cojoe, thanks
Can you provide the reference source for your recommended soil levels of 0.1-2.0 ppm Molybdenum?

Don't have the same growing experience as everyone else but I have looked at hundreds if not over a thousand Logan tests over the years. Most of it has been for cannabis in soilless media, so you can take this with a grain of salt, but I rarely adjust trace minerals unless I see a reflected issue on a tissue test or a visible symptom. You can get in trouble applying trace minerals, as it's difficult to get them out in the proper amounts evenly. And most soils have some trace minerals already and I usually don't see a lot of change or improvement when folks start balancing them. Molybdenum is one we don't even look at all. Just wanted to share another opinion on trace minerals.
