Thanks for the reminder, had a very difficult time last year getting them in. Anyone have a go to for the best quality seed or are all about the same?

Now would be the time to order. I am getting catalogs from Burpee, Jung, Gurneys, etc.

I was thinking the same thing. I have lots of time on my hands and not able to do much. But I can check out the seeds we will need, as both Jacob and my daughter Jessica plan on gardening a lot. More for food, less for competition. Hopefully by spring I will be in shape to do some things in the garden.

Yep. I ordered my garden seeds about 2 weeks ago; because of the problems I had last Spring getting my veggie seeds.

Walking into my favorite local garden center last spring and seeing the seed packet shelves both blew me away and made me glad that this year more people gardened than ever before.

We just ordered seeds for our vegetable farm, a tad over $3k in vegetable seed. The big seed suppliers, Harris, Rupp, Johnny's, Siegers, currently do not have a supply issue. Smaller seed companies are having issues. Now if one waits until late January or early February, you will likely have an issue.

Stay away from Gurneys, Farmers, Jung and Parks. They now owned by giant corporations and are not what they used to be !
