Mr. Gross - I love the pix of your 1661.5 on PF - the young fruit clearly shows the alignment of the (5?) lobes and is the same color as your garage, also 5-sided, lol and would have made a great lounge chair for watching the other things going on in the patch from! Good luck on a PB - eg

Thank you pumpkin pal it was not a easy job keeping stem dug out enough to keep air flow around it and blossom end dry but yes it made a perfect chair

Growing some decent size pumpkins(preferably orange) for the front yard. When someone stops their car and shouts out " you have the best yard there is", what more reason do you need to have to grow them than pleasure and putting smiles on peoples' faces. If they are contest worthy that is a bonus

PS---naturally wishing to get over 1K in '21, and all I EVER need to do is initially kill every weed i ever see and keep after it (watch out, too, cattails and roof moss, lol!) and bury my vines 100%...that is ALL it would take. So, my wish is of myself more than anything. Oh, and for it to be from one of my own seeds as well, like (2145 X 1007 Brown). eg
