I don't know when the season starts, but if it hasn't started yet, I'd like to send a couple of 2552 seeds to the southern hemisphere. There is a low seed count of 2552, but instead of doing the germination test at home and losing those seeds, I prefer to try to send the seeds so that he can germinate there, and if it is possible to grow them. Does anyone have an email or contact from Tim Harris or a grower from the southern hemisphere or Asia, interested in growing a 2552 in this new season? I will risk sending them by letter, and that they cross the border. I hope they are there in 15-20 days. The doubt is that I do not know when they start to grow.
Thank you

Thank you very much, I contact him. it's a shame, I dreamed of 600 seeds. No luck. When they are completely dry, I will remove the ones that are hollow, we will see how many are finally left. The weekend I will check them on the table. They are white seeds but appear solid. That is why it is interesting to do the germination test.

I've replied to your email, thanks for getting in touch. Just in case anyone else wants to send seeds in the future it can be problematic if they are just sent without the proper process.

A few years ago they changed the rules around seeds coming into the country. As a small island nation with few pests/diseases bio security is taken really seriously here.

Some seeds were sent once and picked up coming through the border. There were interviews done, mention of prison time and fines, all worked out in the end. But a bit scary.

Pre Covid we had a system in place to get giant pumpkin seeds over here, hope to get some more next year. Any other giant varieties we can't get get :( it sucks, but least we can get the giants.
