Tiller in action, I tilled my garden already. This area is for video purposes only. What used to take about 3hrs in my garden with my 18 inch walk behind only took me 15 minutes.

wile, that till I did in the video was 6 inches. My max depth ends up being around 8 1/2 inches.

That look really sweet. It would do great on my sand/silt. When you were running it..did it seem like the front rotation was trying to push you? After you first posted about your tiller, I have been wondering if it would be beneficial to employ a dual tine system...one forward rotation and one reverse. Trying to set it up for neutral push. 8 1/2 inches is great. If possible, I would like to be able to go even a bit deeper.

Ambitious winter project you undertook, and the results are phenomenal. I will be waiting for the hobbit tiller to go on sale.

Marv, there are no rocks here, this property sits on the edge of the red river valley some of the best soil in the There have been pumpkins grow here in the past. Nothing was planted here last year. My growing area is on the other side of the fence. This will be my 5th year on my side.

It wasn’t pushing or pulling really. If I go to fast then it will start to ride up higher and move me along, but as long as I stay a nice even pace or just go a little slower it stays down nice and I have to throttle up a bit. I tried it in hard packed soil and then it wants to push a little bit but not as long as I go slow. Or I can just till 4” deep first and then give it a second pass deeper.
