What a weigh off! Congratulations to all growers and especially Alex, Gary and Woody. That is a new Mass. Record and a new CT record! Topsfield is one of those weigh offs that I have always wanted to go to. It has that mystique and history that goes along with it. Sort of like Fenway park for baseball and the Madison Square garden for Basketball.

I knew there were some big ones out there, I am excited to see what is next. Will another location surpass Topsfield's best. We will see.

Congratulations Alex, Gary and Woody!! It must have been an exciting day! Congratulations to our young growers for their hard word and enthusiasm! Who won the Howard Dill Award?

It was a great weigh-off! Congratulations out to Alex on the new CT State record and Gary, Woody, George, Tom K, and Jaime on new personal bests! (Sorry if I missed anyone.)

Also Woody is the first (I think) to be in the "2100 pound Third Place Club;-)

Howard Dill went to "abbynormal" with a great deep orange and symmetrical pumpkin.
