My brother ordered these things called pine berries there a type of strawberry and they came in the mail early I posted a picture of them in my diary it might not have posted yet but when they came in they were already started and mushed together which he didn’t expect. Do any of you have experience with these berries or know How to start plants that look like this? Thanks

I'm sure what you got were bare root plants in a bundle. Treat them like any other strawberry plant. Plant them outdoors as soon as you can, weather and conditions permitting. Store in your refrigerator near 35° until then.

I think they are ok with light frost. Probably best to plant early as possible because they could deteriorate if held too long in fridge. As cold and as possible meanwhile and humid too once they completely dry out or get moldy... its too late. Strawberries dont get killed too easily but on the other hand they will go straight from alive to dead & there is not much 'in between zone' for them. I have found they are easy to be successful at AND easy to kill.

Those are Alpine strawberries. They tend to be a little tougher plants.
