Lol...all my old leaves are dead. Major problem I see is socks and sandals.

Yeah the plant is having trouble in the later stages I’m going to increase the potassium and micro nutrients slightly for the next couple of weeks before the weigh off.

There is no way, you can get away with socks and sandals in Southern California, maybe in the North, but not in SoCal.

Abomb044, the older parts of your plant are gonna look the worst, sometimes the newer growth sucks the life out of older growth late in the growing season.

Those sandals may not be fashionable but there great to slide into whenever I want to look at the pumpkin!

Its all cool we might not agree on fashion but we agree on doing crazy stuff for out pumpkins just say those are your special patch shoes right & they dont compress the ground as much as regular shoes... :) I bet someone on here wears clown shoes or the moccasins of chief crazy horse...

The cooler temps later in the year can interfere with calcium uptake and other minerals too probably??

I just thought that your leaves look so unusual it would be interesting to know the real answer... We could save money on tissue testing if we could put our heads together and learn from each other.
