Hello Everyone!
This is my second growing season and my first season growing an Atlantic Giant. It has gotten to be a pretty big size, but the growth seems to have rapidly declined. Any tips to jolt the growing for a little bit more until harvest? Thanks everyone, excited to be aboard!

Not much you can do to give them a jolt. Best thing you can do is water consistently. And keep the pumpkin covered. Not sure where your from but this time of year growth slows up.

Maybe not a jolt, but I have been able to get them a little pickup by foliar feeding Schultz or Miracle Gro tomato food and molasses. Just a little bit every evening. You don't want to do that earlier in the season and risk damaging the leaves, but with just a couple weeks to go it can't hurt that much. And avoid the jolt that could blow them up. Consistent watering like Jake said.

I made a similar during the accelerated growth within the first 30 days, and someone posted that in their experience, his pumpkins reached half their weight in the first 35 days. And he was spot on with my growth rate this year. My pumpkin was a little over 200 pounds in thirty days, and is now a little over 400 lbs after 70 days.

As long as it's still growing just stay on your regular program there is no magic formula but once they stop this time of year you won't get them back going best of luck to you!

i know my plants don't seem to mind one quart into 55 gallons of water, per plant about once a week, when i think to do it; so, a 1/220 ratio, whatever that is---i'd have to guess a tablespoon per gallon. eg Pretty close! lol: 1 Gallon [Fluid] = 256 Tablespoons [Fluid US or UK]
