I've been growing out of aged manure piles this year because I had no way to spread it. Everything is looking great and growing like crazy. Without doing a soil test would a little shot of fertilizer...miracle gro..hurt it or if it ain't broke don't fix it. Way ahead of previous years. I'm an Orange grower not looking for size and I have a lot going.

Try it one of your middle of the pack plants and see if it makes any difference-good way to learn

I got results from my first leaf test it was helpful even though the plant looked good it was a little short on zinc and sulfer.
Now it looks even better!! The issue with miracle grow is the nitrogen is high. If they slow down and you think the plants can handle more nitrogen then use it... It shouldnt be a problem other than the nitrogen is so high...

But yeah thats if they slow down. These plants can handle the high salts in a manure pile and do well but if thats the case and you add to that... you are asking for problems.

Cojoe, thought about that but pollinations on my 9 plants in my personal patch are spread out over several weeks. I will give a shot to my 200 dmg...don't like the vine issues but boy it produces nice dark orange. Lets see if it makes a difference. Hate to give that 1330 Gansert anything..same Manure and now I have a NORM WHEEL and a bunch of others!!!!
