Hopefully this helps--give my formula a try this year & see if it works for you... It has worked for me!

This is the daily gain in pounds... not inches. Sorry for confusion... Don't confuse with my last post.

The best week divided by seven should get you close to your highest daily gain but you can maybe add a few pounds because the x 40 formula works best for the absolute highest single daily gain which is probably hidden somewhere in your highest weekly number. If you use your highest weekly number you will hopefully have a pleasant surprise at the scale...

This formula will be less kind at the scale, the less accurate your measurements are... Your weekly measurememt averaged to daily might be more accurate but should slightly underestimate.

And if your kin stops growing early or if you pick it early obviously you will take a hit to your final weight and the estimation will be higher than your pumpkins weight. Just fyi.
