8 inches on a 1059 Vincent McGill, it was around days 10-15 so pretty insignificant in the big picture.

I'm always 4" to 5" now days with the bigger plants I'm growing but had over 9" cc back in the day. That pumpkin only ended up at 1063 pounds.
Everything being terminated early in the season can get you these impressive early numbers but I'm in for the long haul and need a much bigger plant to do this.
I'll have to say it was pretty cool to see!

My response was referring to 7 years ago and a brief couple day period. My diary references 6 inches on 9 dap. My average is 4-5. I’m about 5.5 inches a night right now on my 816 Norm day 16

Hotdogs ice cream snickers bars and potato chips and I gained... Insight into how I could become a sumo wrestler. Ok-- lets stick with pumpkins.

I would be interested in hearing from some more growers about their cicumference gains... of the pumpkin kind.

I was just talking with Chris about this subject the other day. I hit 7" on day 14 on the 1791 Werner. That was the first day I started taking measurements. Since then, circumference gains have decreased as the size of the pumpkin increases but weight gains have really gone up. The day it grew 7" I thought it would be fun to video the pumpkin growing so I put a .0001 indicator on the side of the pumpkin and you could literally watch it grow. I should post the video on youtube or something.
