My 816 Norm is DAP 15, growing very well, looks to be tall, but the blossom is slowly sinking in (not birdbath style, but horizontally). What's everyone's experience with these? Are they more prone to splitting or just the opposite? Any extra steps to take with sinking blossoms to make it to the end?
Thank you

Take a look at my diary. The last pic shows mine. It's at day 42 and doing fine. But I'd be curious as to others opinions to your questions.

I don't like to see a sunken blossom cause you know its thin there. However many make it and some extreme sucked it ones make it. so drink beer and watch the show.

All the sunken blossoms ive had were on squash and they were abnormally thick walled in that area with small inner cavities.

It just adds a little more stress to your season Luke! Mine have all made it to the end with a sunken blossom.
Keep at it!

Thanks guys, I’m at the stage where every morning I take the sheet off cringing with 1eye open. I haven’t went a season since 2011 without a blossom end split.
