I’ve been mixing all three of these together I’ve noticed white flakes in my mixing which I figured out is from the calcium nitrate and magnesium sulphate chemically mixing. I’ve just read you can’t combine calcium nitrate and potassium sulphate. I was wondering if my plant has gotten any of these all season.

Mix calcium nitrate and magnesium sulphate and you'll get calcium sulphate ie insoluble gypsum. This might not happen so much if the solution is dilute, but certainly will if you use concentrate.

Mixing these things is kinda an expert level question. I’m certainly not at that level but I was thinking maybe you could do one as a foliar and apply the other to the roots. I’ve not seen a discussion of this though it seems everyone has their own way of making dinner for their pumpkins...

I don’t know if Holland’s recipe is on their site but I can send an attachment to anyone who wants their info sheet it’s pretty basic and proven to work.

Magnesium can be applied foliar, but not calcium.

Is it fine to apply them to the roots on different days

Growth Products Cal/Mag Max label says “When applied as a foliar spray, it provides almost immediate correction of calcium and magnesium deficiencies. Cal-Mag Max can also be applied to the soil, as a supplement or in alternation with other fertilizers”
